A: We first opened for business in April of 2002 and have since then changed our business name to StartWebHost, LLC to promote the reseller market.
Q: I don't want to resell accounts, but I like your prices. Can I still use your service?
A: Absolutely! Our reseller accounts are perfect for non-resellers as well because they are so easy to configure and use.
Q: Do you accept anything other then PayPal?
A: Yes, but this special offer is with PayPal Subscriptions only. Once we officially re-open, we will accept other methods of payment and you can switch if you wish.
Q: What kind of support do you have?
A: All support is via e-mail to the e-mail address support@startwebhost.com. We check this very frequently and you can expect a response anywhere from 1-12 hours depending on the time of day you submit your request. Often we reply within minutes of your e-mail.
Q: How long does it take to get the account setup?
A: Most orders will be completed same day, but at most the next day.
Q: Do you have any guarantees?
A: Yes, we have a 30 day money back guarantee and a 99% uptime guarantee. Money back guarantee does not include domain name registration. If you cancel within 30 days you will be refunded all but $14.95 to cover the registration of the domain.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: You may cancel at any time before the next billing cycle and you will not owe anything. Past the 30 day guarantee, we do not give any refunds.
Q: What is your acceptable use policy?
A: We do not allow adult hosting or IRC servers. We also do not allow hosting that is related to spam, hacking, or any other illegal activity.
